Campus Leaders Today, Career Leaders Tomorrow envisions Career Leadership Academy students developing into career-ready individuals possessing refined leadership skills, who create a positive influence on campus and in the community, and while working towards sustainable success as a professional student organization.



The purpose of CLT is to enhance the leadership skills acquired in the Career Leadership Academy, and to provide opportunities for applying growth through the 3 following pillars:

Empowerment

Through the Empowerment Pillar, CLT aims to expand students' opportunities to take on leadership roles in projects they are passionate about as well as encourage fellow students to step up and take the lead, progressing out of their comfort zone. Also through this pillar, CLT aims to bring out a unique leadership style within the organization, so each individual experiences a personal sense of leadership and worth within the organization.

Professional & Alumni Relations

The objective of this pillar is for the organization Campus Leaders Today, Career Leaders Tomorrow to foster relationships between the following groups:



  1. Members of the organization
  2. Students at The University of Iowa
  3. Leaders in the workforce
  4. Career Leadership Academy Alumni.

Service

​​
Through the Service Pillar, the goal of CLT is to present student leaders the opportunity to organize as well as participate in service/volunteer projects to promote involvement within the local, regional, and global community.
